Conservation Groups:


IGFA – The International Game Fish Association is a not-for-profit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rule making and record keeping.


Billfish Foundation – The Billfish Foundation (TBF) is the only non-profit organization dedicated solely to conserving and enhancing billfish populations around the world.


Central American Billfish Association (CABA) was formed to protect billfish resources in the Eastern Pacific Ocean off Central America and Panama by promoting well-focused conservation measures and policies, which requires a solid scientific understanding of the resource.


FECOPT – Promoting fishing tourism and the sustainable use of Costa Rica’s marine resources. FECOPT is working to create a network of people who support sustainable fishing methods as well as a network of people who directly or indirectly benefit from the tourist fishing industry in Costa Rica.

Local and National Tourism Chambers:


ICT (Costa Rican Tourism Board) – We are leaders in policy development of promoting sustainable tourism and recognized around the world for promoting a Tourism Development Model which seeks to find a balance between economic, natural, human, and social capital.

Quepos Chamber of Commerce – an association of businesses who share a desire to improve and fortify economic activity within the region. The Chamber is a private, non-profit, association which operates for communal well-being.

Grupo Manuel Antonio – The Association Grupo Manuel Antonio is a not-for-profit group of more than 52 licensed and registered tourism companies, working together with the clear objective of promoting & marketing this beautiful area of the Pacific Coast.
