Quick Facts:

  • December to April is considered to be the high season and is typically the most frequented by tourists.
  • The west coast typically has light winds and the Central Pacific coast is often flat and calm.
  • Marina Pez Vela is the perfect base from which to explore the nearby lush rainforests, national parks and beaches.
  • Quepos is only 2 ½ hours from the capital city of San Jose and the international airport (SJO) by car, and less than 30 minutes by air to our municipal airport on one of Costa Rica’s domestic airlines.
